Why a stable home life is important for children

For children, the home will always be their safe refuge from the negative forces of the world. Home represents the fortress where they can run to whenever they are assailed by problems.
That is why it is vital that children must have a stable home life.

But how can one define a stable home?

Stability denotes a certain state of equanimity and calmness; it signifies a firm, secure ground in which something is based on. Home on the other hand is a place where a family lives or a place where one wants to be. Putting the two definitions together, we come up with a place where a family lives together in a state of equanimity and calmness. This indicates that there should be a certain balance and organization, a certain peace and security for a home to be considered stable.

Why is it so important that children should have a stable home life? What are the justifications for this need? Below are these specific reasons:

1. The formative years of children begin at home.
